I visited a few clients, for whom I had designed and built about 8 or 10 years ago. I asked them these questions: What attracted you to Masonry Heaters, What made you decide to buy a Masonry Heater? What's it like to live with a Masonry Heater? What would you say to someone who is considering one? The answers were very similar. Note that not all these stoves have the same wall thicknesses, and wall thickness impacts surface temperature. Typical stove temperatures range from 130-170 depending on construction. Very safe for children and pets.
